The were
founded in the summer of 1991. Our members come from all walks of life,
with a common interest in horses. Membership is open to horsewomen who
are well skilled riders.
COLORS: Purple, Silver & Black
UNIFORMS: Purple hat, 4 different Silver, Purple, & Black sequin
Jackets, Black chaps
and a snood to boot!
FLAGS: (2) White w/ Purple team Logo, and Purple w/white Logo
TACK: Brown Leather with Silver accent, white splint boots. The
equipment is owned by the team.
of this organization shall be to promote horsemanship, sportsmanship,
and maintain a winning, competitive team in the art of ladies drill.
The
practice weekly in Olympia under the direction of our drillmaster (Dan
Myers). Team interaction is conducted prior to practice at ride nights.
Business meetings are conducted only on an "as needed" basis.
Elections and the Semi-formal Banquet are held in the fall.
Every year, the SILVERADOS put on an annual Tack Sale in February.
